Margaret River is Wadandi boodja (country), home to the Wadandi (Saltwater) people for over 50,000 years. The Margaret River Region spans a length of 110 kilometres, hugging the coastline from Geographe Bay in the north, Cape Naturaliste in the west and Cape Leeuwin in the south. The region comprises rural countryside, sandy beaches, ancient limestone caves, native forests and national parks.
